The residents of Maranzhe village and the surrounding areas are expected to stream to their local football ground, Maranzhe Hungry Lions, as the quarterfinals, semifinals and final of the Petrus Madzuhe Soccer Tournament will be staged there tomorrow and on Sunday.

Three quarterfinal matches will be played at the venue tomorrow, while one will be staged at the nearby Tshambobvu Junior Aces grounds. At the Maranzhe grounds, Tshambobvu Junior Aces will meet Matondoni Home Sweepers in their local derby, which is scheduled to kick off at 09:00. Tshivhilidulu Hungry Lions will have a date with the winner between Voweto Maximum Force and Mukumbani Shooting Stars at the Tshambobvu grounds, also at 09:00

Maximum Force and Shooting Stars played at the Matondoni grounds yesterday, Thursday, but the result of the match was not yet available at the time of our going to press. In the other two matches that will be played at Maranzhe, Muraida Youth Development and Itsani United will battle it out at 13:00. The hosts, Maranzhe Hungry Lions, will rub shoulders with The Dolphins FC at 15:00.

The winners in the quarters will play in the semifinal stage the following morning. The first first semi is scheduled to start at 09:00 and the second at 11:00. Teams booted out in the semifinal stage will meet in their losers' final match at 13:00.

The final will start at 15:00. The players to watch in tomorrow's matches are Vhutshilo Nemafhohoni (Tshivhilidulu Hungry Lions), Lucas Sithole (The Dolphins) and Ndvhuwo Muthuhadini of Tshambobvu Junior Aces. The champions will receive R5 000, a floating trophy and soccer kit.
