The Thohoyandou Stadium is expected to be packed to capacity tomorrow afternoon. That is where the much-awaited NFD match between Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) and Jomo Cosmos will be played.

TTM must win the match at all cost in order to maintain their leadership on the log.

A quick glance at TTM's track record shows that Cosmos will be lucky if, by chance, they manage to hold Vhadau vha Damani to a draw. The Tshakhuma side have won all three matches they have played at home so far. They collected maximum points against Cape Umoya, TS Galaxy and Real Kings and drew with Uthongathi and Royal Eagles.

Cosmos' forwards will not find it easy against the defenders of TTM, Carlington Nyadombo, Lebohang Mabotja and Tshepo Makgoga. The combination of Edward Manqele, David Zulu and Ononogbu Onyedikachi in TTM's striking force has the potential to keep the opposition defence running for cover throughout the game.

Aluwani "Killer" Nedzamba, the TTM sharpshooter, is a doubtful starter tomorrow. He was replaced by David Zulu in their game against Cape Umoya United at the Thohoyandou Stadium last Sunday after sustaining a knee injury.

The fact that Cosmos are one of the league title contenders is reason enough for the local soccer fanatics to expect a thriller.

The other NFD fixtures are: TS Sporting vs Ubuntu Cape Town, Stellenbosch FC vs Real Kings, Royal Eagles vs Uthongathi, University of Pretoria vs Maccabi FC, Cape Umoya United vs Mbombela United, TS Galaxy vs Witbank Spurs and Richards Bay vs Ajax Cape Town.
