After winning six matches in a row, Black Leopards gave away two significant league points last weekend. They unexpectedly drew 1-1 with Maluti FET College in their National First Division League match at the Charles Mopedi Stadium in Phuthaditshaba on Saturday.
Morgan Shivambu scored for Leopards in the 84th minute. The home side did not throw in the towel and snatched the equalizer via Tsietsi Maduna in the referee's optional time. Maluti are still lying at the bottom of the log, while Leopards retain their sixth position.
Lamontville Golden Arrows maintained their leadership on the log by beating Garankuwa United 2-0 at the Pilditch Stadium in Pretoria.
Golden Arrows are now leading the pack with 44 points accumulated from 22 outings. They are three points ahead of Thanda Royal Zulu. Thanda Royal Zulu beat Cape Town All Stars 3-1 at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex in Richardsbay. Menzi Hlope, Michael Gumede and Amigo Memela scored for Thanda, while Ace Bhengu scored the Stars' solitary goal.

FC Cape Town emerged the 1-0 victors over Baroka FC at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday. The match between Witbank Spurs and African Warriors was decided by a single late goal, with Tsweu Mokoro scoring for Warriors four minutes before the end of regulation time.
