Musina United have a mammoth task at hand this weekend. They will travel to Giyani on Saturday to honour their ABC Motsepe League match against Giyani United, which will be played at the Xikukwani Stadium.
Musina United and Happy Boys have every reason to want to collect the maximum points at stake. Musina's future as an affiliate for the ABC Motsepe League is hanging by a thread as they are lying in the second-last position on the log standings with 10 points from 12 matches. They must win at least two of their four remaining fixtures.
On the other hand, anything less than victory will do Happy Boys more harm than good. The Giyani side are currently leading the pack with 29 points, which they had accumulated from 12 matches. Happy Boys are two points ahead of the second-placed side, Mpheni Home Defenders. Home Defenders have two matches in hand. Should they manage to win their outstanding matches, Home Defenders will jump to the top of the log, leaving Happy Boys four points behind.
Happy Boys are sharpened to kill after beating Vondwe XI Bullets 5-2 at the Tshifudi Stadium last Sunday.
Vondwe XI Bullets visit Winners Park FC at the Giyani Stadium. Winners Park must keep an eye on the Bullets' goal poachers, Mulamuleli Netshidzivhe, Talifhani Manyage and Phathutshedzo Nemagovhani, or else they will concede an avalanche of goals.
After crushing Clarewood JPM FC 3-0 in their Nedbank Cup match at the Thohoyandou Stadium last Saturday, Mpheni Home Defenders will take on Emmanuel FC at the Louis Trichardt High School Grounds.
Mikhado FC will host Munaca FC at the Rabali Stadium in the Nzhelele Valley. Mikhado are rooted at the bottom of the log with nine points. Mighty FC will play against City Motors at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. The other fixtures are Ditlou FC vs PJ Stars, Eleven Fast Tigers vs Phinnet City and Tzaneen United vs Tubatse United FC.
