After playing two successive away league matches in the past weeks, Black Leopards will be back home next Tuesday evening, 28 August. They will rub shoulders with Orlando Pirates at the Thohoyandou Stadium.
The spirit is high in the Leopards' camp after their playing to a 2-2 draw with Chippa United at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in East London last Saturday evening.
On the other hand, Orlando Pirates are still in shock, following their 0-1 defeat at the hands of Bloemfontein Celtic last Sunday.
Lidoda Duvha are still to lose a league match, even though they are newcomers in the elite division. They won one and drew two of the three matches they have played to date.
After realizing that their goalkeeping department was letting them down from one match to the other, Leopards acquired the services of the former Jomo Cosmos keeper, King Ndlovu, on Monday this week.
A victory against Pirates is likely to lift Leopards two step up on the league log. The Thohoyandou outfit are currently lying in the fifth position with 5 points.
The match can also be the opportunity for the former Leopards' midfielder, Meshack Maphangule, to prove to his former employers that they committed a suicidal mistake by letting him go at the end of last season. Maphangule is now playing for Buccaneers.
The match can also be the chance for Leopards' strikers, Xolani Ndlovu, Mwape Musonda, Themba Ndlovu and Karabo Tshepe. They are sharpened to kill and, if on target, they can destroy any defence.
Free State Stars will entertain Cape Town City at the Goble Park Stadium in Bethlehem the following day, Wednesday 29 August. Polokwane City will meet Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Princess Magogo Stadium.
The other fixtures for Wednesday are: SuperSport United vs Chippa United, Bidvest Wits vs Amazulu, Kaizer Chiefs vs Bloemfontein Celtic and Baroka vs Highlands Park.
