The quarterfinal matches for the MTG KO competition will be played at the Khubvi Benjies grounds tomorrow.

Only three matches will be played tomorrow as the eighth team, Mashishi Young Tigers, will be on bye. The day's programme will commence with a match between Mulindathavha Ocean Swallows and Thembaluvhilo Seven Stars at 11:00.

The second match will be between Lurangwe the Angel and Dzwerani United Brothers. United Brothers' way to the quarterfinal stage of the prestigious competition went via Mapate Black Mambas, whom they brutally walloped 4-0 at the Tshisaulu Lwandani grounds three weeks ago.

Lufule Arsenal and Sheshe Bush Bucks will lock horns in the last match, which is scheduled to start at 15:00. Arsenal will have it tough against the Bucks' vastly experienced players in Mashudu "Shakes" Mukhari, Fhatuwani Netshithuthuni and Livhuwani Nthangeni.

Sheshe Bush Bucks proved all the critics wrong by winning two matches at the same venue last Sunday. They beat Tshilavulu Elite 2-1 in their opening game. They secured a place in the quarterfinal stage of the competition by beating Banyini Flying Swallows 4-3 in the second match later that day.

The toss for the semifinal matches will be conducted at the grounds shortly after the final whistle. The semifinal matches will be played at the same venue on Sunday.

This year's champions will be presented with a cash prize of R22 000, a floating trophy, gold medals and soccer kit. Teams that will reach the semifinal stage will each receive a soccer kit and cash prizes.

The final will be played on Saturday, June 16, at a venue still be announced.
