Passionate gospel artist and minister of the Word, Pastor Shandukani “Changes” Ndou, is celebrating a major milestone in his music ministry following the release of his first live recording EP, Galatians 5:1 Mbofholowo.
The project was recorded live at Tsianda in April 2025 and released this year, quickly gaining attention among gospel music lovers. Ndou, who hails from Lwamondo outside Vuwani, says the EP marks a significant step in his journey of spreading the gospel through music.
“With music I am able to reach a wider audience, and this helps in the spread of the gospel,” he said. “I am overwhelmed with the response I am getting from gospel music fans. The live recording is the best thing to have happened in my career.”
Ndou’s passion for gospel music started at a young age while growing up in a home where faith and music played a central role. His journey in the industry began in 2016 when he released his debut single, Dzhenelela.
In 2018, he recorded his first full-length album, Vho Naka Mudzimu, under Hope Arise Records, led by renowned psalmist Takie Ndou. The album helped establish him as one of the emerging voices in gospel music.
Over the years, he has also participated in various music competitions, including the Rofhiwa Annual Star Search, where he reached the top five, and Gospel Gold Classical, where he finished among the top 20 in Gauteng.
After releasing the single Mukundi Wanga in 2024, Ndou returned to the studio for the live recording of Galatians 5:1 Mbofholowo, produced under Holy Sounds Music Group, owned by Mashudu Nemukula.
