With only three matches remaining before teams in the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League conclude their season, the stream champions could be crowned this Saturday.
Pacesetters Mpheni Defenders need only one point from their remaining fixtures to secure a place in the promotional play-offs. Defenders will be away to Baduzah Celtics at Lulekani Stadium outside Phalaborwa.
A win against Defenders on Saturday will be enough for Celtics to retain their ABC Motsepe League status for at least another season. Celtics are in ninth position with 20 points, seven ahead of Nkowankowa Celtic and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila. Fisters Magodimisa, Lufuno Mulaudzi and Rophney Hlungwane are the players to watch in the Defenders camp.
Mukondeni Young Chiefs will host Musina United at Makhado Showgrounds. Both sides have only pride to play for, as they are clear of the relegation zone. Young Chiefs and Musina United lost their matches last weekend, with Chiefs going down 2-1 to Mpheni Defenders and Musina United beaten 0-2 by The Dolphins FC at Musina Rugby Stadium.
Vondwe XI Bullets will travel to Senwabarwana to face The Dolphins FC at Ben Serake Stadium.
The Phalaborwa derby between Phalaborwa United and White Vultures will be played at Phalaborwa Sports Complex. White Vultures will be confident after crushing Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila 3-0 at Selwane Sports Ground in Phalaborwa last Saturday.
The other fixtures are Nkowankowa Continentals v Lebash Football Academy and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila v Tzaneen United.
