Black Leopards gave away more valuable league points to Supersport United, who crushed them 3-0 in their Absa Premiership League match that was played at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Pretoria on Wednesday evening, 14 September.

Leopards failed to capitalize on the fact that the home side were playing against the wind in the first half. Instead it was Supersport that attacked and applied the pressure.

Atusaye Nyondo scored a brace, while the overlapping defender, Morgan Goud, found the third later in the game. Although Nyondo looked dangerous from the onset, the Leopards' defence made no effort to contain him.

Supersport threatened to score in the second minute, but Nyondo´s header, following a cross from Jabulani Maluleke, was off target. The striker had another chance in the 14th minute, but the Leopards' keeper, Postnet Omony, made a brilliant save with his feet to keep the visitors on level terms.

With Matsatsantsa a Pitori creating chances at will, it was only a matter of time until they took the lead. Supersport finally went in front just before the the half time whistle. Bryce Moon floated in a cross from the right flank and Nyondo turned it home to make it 1-0.

Four minutes into the last stanza, Nyondo was in the thick of things once again, scoring from ten metres away.

Realizing that their right back, Siphiwe Vezi, was the reason for their first two goals, Leopards replaced him with Humphrey Khoza in the 60th minute. This move did not serve any purpose, as Supersport managed to extend the lead via Morgan Goud who unleashed from close range when the game was 64 minutes old.

Lidoda duvha later replaced their Zimbabwean international, Kingston Nkhata and captain, Mongezi Bobe, with Thabo Mongalo and Mahlatse Maake respectively.

Leopards were reduced to ten men when Khethowakhe Masuku was dismissed for a second bookable offence in the 75th minute. Supersport enjoyed ball possession for the remaining part of the game.
