The Thohoyandou Stadium will be a good place for local soccer lovers to be on Sunday morning.

That is where the Multichoice Diski Challenge League match between Black Leopards and Wits University will take place. Lidoda Duvha are still to win a league match so far. Their worst result was a 1-6 drubbing at the hands of Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg last Saturday.

Asked about the team's form, which has been deteriorating with time, the team's head coach, Mr Justice Matlokga, said that his team was one of the best in the league in terms of performance, but that he was not happy that their strikers seemed to be shy at the goal finish. He assured the team's supporters, however, that they are working on that at training throughout the week.

Matlokga appealed to the fans to turn up in their numbers on Sunday, saying they were going to register their first victory in 10 league matches. He further stated that the combination of Xolani Ndlovu, Thembisani Nevhulamba and Muthu Luswinga at the forefront had the potential to make the fans smile at the end of the game. The game is scheduled to start at 10:00.

Baroka FC will host the newly promoted Highlands Park at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. Lamontville Golden Arrows will travel to Bloemfontein, where they will meet Bloemfontein Celtic. Orlando Pirates will host Polokwane City at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.

Kaizer Chiefs will entertain Maritzburg United, while Cape Town City will play against SuperSport United at the Cape Town Stadium in one of the three matches that will be played on Sunday.

Mamelodi Sundowns will meet Chippa United at the Wolfson Stadium in Port Elizabeth and Free State Stars will host Amazulu in Bethlehem.
