DJ Makhanthi on the Deck, hailing from Khunda village, believes he has successfully captured the perfect vibes with the release of his latest house single, "Ratolaka." The track features the powerhouse singer Queen Thee Vocalist and has quickly gained popularity, earning airtime on various radio stations.
To this artist, who was born Shudufhadzo Muofhe, ensuring that his music stays unique is important. "Since I entered the music scene, I have gone to great lengths not only to record a new track and release it but also to polish it again and again to make sure that it has the desired quality," he said.
DJ Makhanthi on the Deck started singing in 2021 and released his first album, titled "CD Ziyawa," in 2022. Speaking about his latest single, he says it comes after a year of not producing anything. He is confident that his fans will love it once they hear it. "Taking into consideration that I have fans all over South Africa, it was important for me to make sure that the song is easily accessible for everyone," he says. He is confident that "Ratolaka" will be successful "because it has everything that house music lovers desire: the message, well-played instruments, and the general arrangement of the song. I also feel that it will inspire many upcoming artists in South Africa".
DJ Makhanthi believes that through the grace of God alone he has succeeded in making a name for himself in the music industry. "I pray about everything I do and put all my trust in God. I understand that there are many struggling musicians, and that is why I thank God for his never-failing presence and influence through my music," he says.
He is currently busy putting the final touches on his upcoming album, which will be released early next year.
