Azwihangwisi Nemadondoni is the latest addition to the Makhado FM team. The former Musina FM presenter joined Makhado FM to present the morning drive show, Sumbandila, which is aired from 07:00 to 10:00, Mondays to Fridays.
Nemadondoni, affectionately called Dons, hails from the rural village of Dzwerani. He says he always yearned to be a radio presenter. "I fell in love with radio at a very young age, and pursuing this dream is the best career choice I could have made. I joined Makhado FM because it gives me the opportunity to expose my talent to a bigger audience," he said.
He completed his primary schooling at Dzwerani and proceeded to Ndaedzo Secondary School, where he matriculated. After that he studied marketing at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). He joined Musina FM in 2017 as presenter and stayed there until 2020.
When he is not working, he loves to read and write. Though he has already made a name for himself in radio, he feels that he still wants to do and achieve a lot in his life. He plans on using this opportunity at Makhado FM to hone his skills as radio presenter.
Nemadondoni lives by the conviction that hard work, effective time management and the desire to succeed contribute to the success one achieves in life. "I have always believed that, no matter how many shots I have missed, I'm going to make the next one. I set realistic goals for myself and strive to achieve them without failure. I have learnt to believe in myself and to always learn from my past mistakes," he said.
