Dynamos will be campaigning under the banner of the Safa second division next season.
They finished their NFD programme in the last position on the log. Their final league match was against FC Cape Town, with whom they drew 1-1 at the NNK Stadium last Sunday afternoon.
Dynamos managed to collect only 17 points this season, one behind FC AK, who have also been relegated.
Jomo Cosmos wrapped up their league activities on a sad note. They lost 1-2 to Santos at the Athlone Stadium, but they managed to escape the relegation axe.
Thanda Royal Zulu failed to secure a place in the promotional play-offs by a whisker. Thanda were leading the pack for the better part of the season, only to fumble at the finishing line. Their 1-1 draw against Mpumalanga Black Aces at the Themba Senamela Stadium in Witbank last Sunday did them more harm than good. They finished their league programme in the fourth position.
Blackburn Rovers shared the spoils with Witbank Spurs, with whom they played to a 2-2 draw in Mthatha Stadium. Vasco da Gama beat FC AK 2-0 at the Eldorado Park Stadium and pushed FC AK to the lower division. African Warriors were too good for Milano United when they mercilessly walloped them 4-0 at the Charles Mopedi Stadium.
Sivutsa Stars and United FC played to a 1-1 draw at the Kabokweni Stadium in Nelspruit. Their 1-0 victory over Roses United was enough to earn Polokwane City a place in the Absa Premiership Division. Polokwane City got an automatic promotion to the country's elite league after completing their league programme on top of the log.
