Mphego Real Rovers were too good for Lufule Flying Bombers and brutally crushed them 4-1 in their MMK Administrators League match at the FNB Makwarela Stadium on Saturday.

Bombers were out of touch from the onset and Real Rovers opened their account in the ninth minute. They were awarded a penalty after a defender of Bombers handled within the box. Gundo Mudau made no mistake from the white spot.

Bombers continued to make silly mistakes within their own half. That gave Real Rovers ample time to invade the territory of Bombers. In the 24th minute, Vuledzani Ntsieni was on target after receiving a neat pass from Nicholas Mathobo.

The Bombers pulled one back in the 34th minute. Lucky Mphohoni beat the Rovers keeper, Tsumbedzo Goma, with a ground cutter after a scramble within the box. Real Rovers continued to press hard in search of more goals after the Bombers' goal, but their strikers were unlucky.

Mulalo Siala of Real Rovers caused a stir in the 39th minute. He received a good pass from Khodani Tshisikule and shot wide from close range. At that stage, the Bombers' keeper, Nditsheni Mahalihali, was already beaten.

Referee Khamusi Razwimisani flashed the only yellow card in the game three minutes into the second half. Dakalo Mabushe of Bombers was reprimanded for obstructing Muhumbudzi Kwinda.

Flying Bombers lost shape in the middle of the park and they were severely punished for that. In the 64th minute, Real Rovers scored their third goal. Thompho Ramabulana was on target after receiving a neat pass from Vuledzani Ntsieni.

Real Rovers created numerous chances late in the game, but they managed to convert only one. Their fourth goal came via Paul Nemavhola, who came on as a substitute in the dying minutes.
