Soccer lovers in the Nzhelele district can look forward to some exciting action when the Mudifho Empire Soccer Tournament kicks off on Friday (16th).
The tournament, pipped to showcase the region's best young talent, takes place at the Luvhalani Grounds on Friday and Saturday. All matches will be live-streamed on YouTube and Facebook, courtesy of Phanda Studios, ensuring that soccer enthusiasts from all over can be part of the event.
The action starts at 09:15, when Monaco Ratas come up against Luvhalani Sunshine. At 11:15, Matsa All Stars will test their strength against Mabirimisa Powerline. In the third match of the day, starting at 13:15, Tshikuwi Stone Breakers will play against Zebra Force, and at 15:15, Tshikuwi GD6 will wrap up the day's activities with a match against Tshikuwi Black Stone.
On Saturday (17th) the action starts at 10:00 when the first semi-final kicks off. The second semi-final starts at 12:00 and later that day, at 15:30, all eyes will be on the final.
