Dr Ndivhoniswani Elphus Muade is more than just a healthcare practitioner; he is also a philosopher, researcher, and musician, known by the name Elfas. He recently released a new single titled "Mukondeleli," a unique love song dedicated to all women.
Elfas has already made a name for himself with hit songs such as "Maitele," "Vhadzimu," "Donngi," "Mathada," and "Khanga a dzi lali," among others.
Born and raised in Ngovhela at Hamadamalala, he began his education at Guvhukuvhu Secondary and completed his matric at Mbilwi Secondary School. After that, Elfas embarked on a lifelong journey of education. He is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Centre for Leadership Ethics in Africa, affiliated with the University of Fort Hare in the Eastern Cape Province.
"Mukondeleli," deliberately released during Women's Month, holds special significance for Elfas. He believes that all women should be respected, loved, and praised because they are all "Vho-Mukondeleli." They are amazing and have played essential and challenging roles in life, from nurturing us as mothers to guiding us as partners.
In conclusion, "Mukondeleli" is not just a song but a tribute to the strength and significance of women. Elfas hopes that his music will inspire men to show love and appreciation to the women who have played vital roles in their lives.
His advice to fellow musicians and young individuals is that it is never too late to seek education. "Don't ever stop developing and equipping yourself with education, as it can open other avenues in life," he said.
