Embarrassing defeat for Magezi

Magezi FC, are fast becoming the laughing stock of the National First Division. They lost another league match last weekend.

They did not retaliate when the Real Kings, rose to the occasion and scored three goals at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban on Saturday.

Mbombela United held Royal Eagles to a 1-1 draw at the Kanyamazane Stadium. Siyabonga Madikane opened the scoring for the hosts in the 14th minute,while the visitors from Durban responded through Raymond Monama late in the game.

In their Cape Town derby in Stellenbosch, Milano United ended Stellenbosch FC's three-game winning streak when they beat them 1-0. Witbank Spurs shared the spoils with Santos, following their 1-1 draw in Emalahleni. Sipho Tshabalala was on target for the home team in the 28th minute. He blasted in a rocket from close range, but The People's Team came back later in the game and found the equalizer via Jonny Jonkers.

Thanda Royal Zulu continued to maintain their unbeaten record when they beat FC Cape Town 4-1 at the NNK Stadium. Mhlengi Cele scored a hat-trick, while the fourth one came through Boikanyo Khomane. The only goal for FC Cape Town was scored by Andile Khumalo.

Black Leopards enjoyed ball possession for the whole game, but in the end they suffered a 0-2 defeat at the hands of University of Pretoria at the Thohoyandou Stadium. Jesse Jackson and Chemon Peterson scored for the visitors in the 67th and 78th minute respectively.

Jomo Cosmos beat Amazulu 4-1 in Potchefstroom.
