The judges had no choice but to declare the main supporting bout between Sakaria Mudau and Marting Mnyandu a draw. The main bout was between Nkosinathi Tshinavhe from Tshaulu and his Kwazulu Natal opponent, Stanley Zondo. Tshinavhe impressed the judges and he was declared the winner with the majority of points.
The fight between Justice Hlungwane and Nelson Chauke was a thriller from the start to the bitter end. It also ended in a draw.
The welterweight division fight between Gordon Mfolo and Sibusiso Ncobo provided six rounds of maximum entertainment. The two boxers shared the glory as the judges ruled it a draw as well. Norman Tshisikhawe was by far to good for his opponent, Nelson Chauke, when he convincingly beat the latter on points. The lightweight fight was fought over six rounds.
The opening fight was between Phathutshedzo Dongola from the local stables and Abram Leshaba. Although the fight was scheduled over four rounds, it ended in the second round. Dongola could not absorb the pressure from Leshaba and that ultimately forced the referee, Mrs Sylvia Maphangule, to stop the fight in the second round. Avhaathu Muleka beat Arnold Matyi on points in their junior featherweight fight that lasted for four rounds.
