A family from Duthuni Mushavhanamadi village outside Thohoyandou is desperately searching for 31-year-old Fhatuwani Baloyi, who disappeared after leaving home early on Sunday morning. Baloyi was last seen at about 06:00 on 12 July.
His family expected him to return later that day, but he has not been seen since.
After searching for him at relatives' homes and in surrounding communities without success, his sister reported him missing to the police.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Mienkie Ramakgoakgoa said Baloyi was wearing a blue Adidas tracksuit, a grey jacket, and maroon shoes when he disappeared.
Police have appealed to anyone who may have seen Baloyi or have information about his whereabouts to come forward.
