THOHOYANDOU – This weekend will see the pride of the Far North, Black Leopards FC playing their final league fixture. They will battle for the all-important league points against Wits University at the Milpark Stadium in Johannesburg tomorrow (Saturday) night.

The match will, for all intents and purposes, contain all the ingredients of a cup final fixture. The two teams are fighting for a place in the prestigious BP Top 8 KO competition. A draw will be good enough for the Thohoyandou outfit to see them playing in the BP top 8.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 20:00.

In the other Castle Premiership League fixtures that will be played tomorrow Jomo Cosmos will entertain Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Rand Stadium in Johannesburg. Kaizer Chiefs and Hellenic will meet at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in the North West Province.

This one, too, is likely to produce some fireworks as Hellenic are fighting for survival while a Chiefs victory will broaden their chances of taking part in the BP Top 8 KO competition next season. Two matches will be played at different venues on Sunday.

The relegation candidate, Amazulu, will take on Supersport United at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban. Ajax Cape Town and Thembisa Classic will test each others' strength at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town. Sunday matches will start at 15:00.

One match will be played next Tuesday, April 30. Kaizer Chiefs will lock horns with Free State Stars at the Ellispark Stadium in Johannesburg. It will be screened live on television starting at 20:00. Next Wednesday's fixtures are Orlando Pirates vs Jomo Cosmos, Sundowns vs Manning Rangers and Amazulu vs Bush Bucks.
