The list of participating teams in the annual Fistos Mafela Top 32 Soccer Challenge has been confirmed, with the tournament set to kick off on 16 December. The final will be played on 24 December.
According to organiser Raul Ndanduleni, 32 teams have confirmed their participation in the competition, which will be hosted at Madimbo Stadium.
The competing teams are: Masakona Tigers, Shakadza Ocean Shallows, Berea FC, Malale Black Cat, Tshikhudini United, Makuya Big Cat, Madimbo Liadavuluvulu, Madimbo Pull Together, Super Macrey, LG Discovery, Mabvete Peace Makers, Matshena Fire Boys, Chlamoya FC, Musina All Stars, Manenzhe Liverpool, Madimbo Royal Eagles, Madavhila KP, Shakadza United, Tshilamusi SE, Masisi Young Stars, Tshiungani YC, Masea Try Again, Zwigodini FC, Mapakoni Vikings, Madhanini FC, Vini FC, Gumbu Peace Makers, Maramanzhi MS, Masisi FC, Masetanoni Hungry Lion, Lwathudwa Black Movers, Tshisimani Top Challengers and Muswodi Happy Fighters.
Ndanduleni said attractive prizes await teams that reach the Top 8. The winners will receive R35,000, a soccer kit, a floating trophy and gold medals, while the runners-up will take home R20,000, a soccer kit and silver medals.
