South African artist Fix Flow SA has opened a new chapter with the release of his latest extended play, Lost in Love. The project is a raw reflection of his personal experiences, blending sadness, resilience, and hope into a sound rooted in Venda rap.

The title draws from a difficult period in his life. "There was a time that I was thinking I am receiving unconditional love, only to find out that I was receiving fake love from the people that I spent quality time with, friends and wife," he explained.

Unlike his previous work, Lost in Love carries a heavier emotional tone. The songs—from instrumentals to lyrics—are designed to connect with listeners who have endured heartbreak. "It also builds a good connection or relationship that can last forever, based on the people who felt lost in love," he said.

The title track is his most personal, exposing how people can change when love and loyalty are taken for granted. Fix Flow SA leans heavily on Venda rap (Venrap), a genre he feels allows him to deliver deep, relatable messages. His creative process begins with the beat, using rhythm and melody to shape his writing.

Creating the EP demanded long hours in the studio and time away from family, but he found peace in the music. "Music is what I love and is what brings peace to me," he said.

Lost in Love also features collaborations with Fizzy Toofab, Kashflow Toofab, Crops Da Kid, Cudi Gunz, and Young Fizzy. Their performances, he noted, exceeded expectations. "They were 100% fire on this production," he remarked.

Looking ahead, he is determined to take his sound beyond local stages. "I would like to see myself trending internationally, working with big artists, travelling internationally, and building good connections with people through my music," he said.

He describes his style as a fusion of soulful melodies and electronic beats—smooth yet energetic, and unmistakably his own.
