The champions for the competition, Tshidimbini Brave Lions took home a cheque of R3 000 and a floating trophy. Their neighbours, Vondwe XI Bullets Football Club went home with a cheque of R2 000, after they finished second in the competition. The third-placed Tshatshingo Potholes Football Club were given a cash prize of R1 500 for their achievement. A cheque of R1 000 was given to the fourth-placed Mushungwa Try Again Football Club.
Teams that were booted out of the competition in the quarterfinal stage were each given a consolation prize of R700. The 2003 champions, Vondwe Dangerous Tigers, shockingly failed to reach the last 16 and did not receive anything.
During the ceremony, one of the sponsors, Mr Sydney Kharivhe of SK Newlook Electrics, revealed that the sponsors were happy with the manner in which the competition was run. He revealed that the smooth running of the competition has prompted them to in-crease the sponsorship. He stated that the sponsorship will increase from R10 000 to R12 000 next year and that further annual increases are in the pipeline. His colleague, Mr Aubrey Mulaudzi of Aubs Motors, agreed and said that they would gladly continue to give money to football.
The deputy president of the SAFA Northern Province East Region, MR Paul Netshilindi, delivered a speech during the ceremony and praised the sponsors for investing their money in football development.
