The Bliss Night of Worship Gospel Festival will be held at the Jesus Disciples Light Ministry Church in Ravele on Friday, 28 April, starting at 17:00.
The event organiser, Ms Zwiande Ngwana, said the aim of the event was to promote local artists and hook them up with continental and international shows. "We are taking the show to the Sinthumule/Kutama area, so that the people in Vhembe have access to gospel entertainment too and praise and worship with their beloved artists," she said.
Ngwana said the event was expected to attract hundreds of gospel fans from all over Limpopo. Gospel artists to perform at the music festival include Selinah Muswobi, Zwiande Ngwana (Muloshi), Minister Pfunzo, Rotenda Maphari, Moses Musenwa, Maanda Mudau, Colbert L, Minister Isaac and Celestine Modiba.
Disabled artist Selina Muswobi said she had always believed that God's timing was the best. "I don't just sing. My songs heal, teach and make people dance. We listen as God speaks to us. Being invited to this festival means a lot, not only to me, but also to those who support my music," she said.
Mr Moses Musenwa is confident that music lovers will not be disappointed in the show. "I believe in myself, and I know that, to perform in front of a big crowd is proof that I am accomplishing my mission of becoming one of the best gospel artists in the country. My invitation did not come as a surprise, because it is a reward for my hard work. It is very important to thank my fans for their unending support," he said.
Tickets will be sold at the gate from 15:00. Entrance costs R30 (general), R50 (VIP), and R100 (VVIP).
