This event aims to strengthen relationships amongst believers, featuring artists like Lufuno Dagada and Newie.

Believers from different church denominations are expected to gather under one roof this Friday, 26 June, when the TLGWM Gospel Music Festival 2026 takes centre stage at The Living Gospel World Mission (TLGWM) in Tshilivho Hamakhuvha near Thohoyandou.

The festival, which starts at 17:30, aims to unite Christians through worship, fellowship and gospel music that uplifts, heals and glorifies God. Gates will open at 15:00 to allow worshippers time to settle in.

Festival coordinator Mr Tshianeo Mathidi said the event was conceived to strengthen relationships among believers and create a platform where churches can worship together despite denominational differences.

“The TLGWM Gospel Music Festival is more than just a musical event. It is a divine gathering intended to bring churches together under one vision of worship and fellowship,” he said.

The festival has an extensive line-up of gospel artists, including Elle Tisane, Rofhiwa Manyaga, Takie Sikhwivhilu, Takie Ndou, Mukondi Malabi, Newie, Tsiko Mal, Maru and gospel icon Lufuno Dagada, who are expected to minister through song and usher worshippers into an atmosphere of praise.

One of the performers, Newie, said she was excited to be part of the event.

“I feel honoured to be part of this great gospel music festival. Worshippers can expect songs such as Song of Hope, Tshigubu Medley and many more. We are going to have an amazing time in His presence, so come wearing your dancing shoes,” she said.
