Both coaches strengthened their teams by introducing new faces later in the match. Ravele called on Kanakana Netshisumbewa, Given Monothwana and Fhulufhelo Ramakuela and Hanyani brought on Moses Hlungwane, Kenneth Sholwani and Nkateko Rikhotso.
Masala Mavhunga equalised, when his 20-meter drive hit the roof of the net. In the last eight minutes, Hanyani's efforts paid dividends, when Melton Shiburi tried his luck from the centre half.
