Miluwani Happy Boys wrapped up their league programme by beating Sibasa All Stars 1-0 in their MTG Football Association League match at the Miluwani grounds on Sunday.

The score was not a true reflection of the game as Happy Boys were by far the better side throughout the game. As if they were going to skin the visitors alive, Happy Boys approached the game aggressively.

That forced All Stars to play defensive football in the first 20 minutes of the game. Happy Boys squandered two obvious chances within a short space of time. Their fast forward, Murendeni Ramudzuli, went loose from the right corner and unleashed a half volley from the edge of the box in the ninth minute. The ball went far wide.

Realizing that they had nothing to fear, All Stars gained momentum with time and started to play attacking football. The referee, Mr Mpho Sinthumule, flashed the first yellow card in the 34th minute. Adivhaho Ramuntshi of Happy Boys was reprimanded, following an illegal tackle on Livhuwani Matambele.

The goal trough which Happy Boys earned the three important points came in the 38th minute. A defender of All Stars, Fhulufhelo Thabo, handled the ball within the box and that was a clear penalty for Happy Boys. Avhashoni Mukhari beat the keeper with a ground cutter.

Happy Boys effected two changes to their starting line-up in the 65th minute. Aluwani Makwarela and Aluwani Gavhi were replaced with Phathuthedzo Shivambu and Talifhani Netshivhodza respectively. Happy Boys squandered numerous scoring chances towards the end of the game.
