Teams that took part in this year's edition of the Boy Nemakonde Soccer Challenge will receive their prizes during a ceremony at the Copa-Copa Lodge at Ha-Lambani village tomorrow evening.
This year's champions, Begwa United Brothers, will take home R13 000, 11 pairs of soccer boots, six soccer balls, a soccer kit and a floating trophy.
Begwa beat New Discovery FC 4-1 in the final at the Tshifudi Stadium on Saturday, 23 June.
It was announced that 18 players of the winning team will each be given a cash prize of R500, while the team's coach will receive a R1 000 reward.
The runners-up, New Discovery FC, will take home R1 500, 11 pairs of soccer boots, a soccer kit and six soccer balls.
The third-placed side will receive R1 500 and six soccer balls, while the team that finished in fourth place will receive six soccer balls.
Munangwe United Brothers obtained the third position after beating Buluni Happy Boys 1-0 in their losers' final match.
The teams that were booted out in the quarter-final stage will each receive a consolation prize of two soccer balls.
Eight teams took part in this year's tournament. Individual awards will be presented to the player of the tournament (R1 500), best goalkeeper (R1 500) and top goal scorer (R1 000).
