In their MMK Administrators' League match at the Ramukhuba grounds on Sunday, Univen FC collected three league points when they beat Ramukhuba Young Brothers 3-2.

In their MMK Administrators' League match at the Ramukhuba grounds on Sunday, Univen FC collected three league points when they beat Ramukhuba Young Brothers 3-2.

Univen enjoyed more ball possession in the first 20 minutes, and a scramble within Brothers' danger area gave rise to Univen's opening goal. In the sixth minute, Univen's slender striker, Walter Munwana, blasted in a rocket from inside the box.

Young Brothers lost their original fighting spirit soon after the goal. Univen capitalized and scored their second goal.

In the 18th minute, Univen received a free kick in the 25m area and Livhuwani Netshivhodza headed home the free kick by Bright Mayimele. Mavhungu Maphiri, the Young Brothers' left winger, was reprimanded with a card for protesting against the referee's decision in the 27th minute.

Poor communication among the Univen defenders gave rise to Brothers' goal in the 39th minute. Livhuwani Masindi beat the keeper with a ground cutter. The Univen defenders started to press the panic button in the opening minutes of the last half. Young Brothers found the equalizer in the in the 56th minute when Vincent Rammese hooked in a loose ball, following a scramble within the box.

Univen introduced Edmond Ndlovu and Stanly Muruge for Sheriff Sakaza and Riphuluse Phaswana respectively in the 70th minute. Walter Munwana of Univen was warned with a card for handling the ball intentionally. The goal which earned Univen three significant points came in the 84th minute. A substitute, Edmond Ndlovu, scored from the free kick with a volley.
