Only two of the outstanding cases were finalized during the MMK Administrators Soccer League's disciplinary committee sitting at the league's head office last Monday evening.
FCKK were found guilty of causing the abandonment of their league match against Phungo All Stars. The committee found that Phungo did not have a minimum of five U/23 players in their starting line-up before the game kicked off as required by the league's rules and regulations.
The committee also found that, after some lengthy discussions between the officials from the two clubs, FCKK felt that they had enough reasons not to play the game. A fine of R5 000, which is payable within 30 days, was imposed on FCKK.
Tshakhuma Na Ndilani (TNN) FC were acquitted of fielding an improperly registered player in their game against Maweja Takers FC. The case relates to an incident which took place at the Tshakhuma Mulangaphuma grounds on Sunday, 7 June. Maweja lodged a protest with the match officials before the game started. In their protest, Maweja alleged that one of the players of Tshakhuma Na Ndilani, Fhatuwani Mudau, was not properly registered with the team.
Maweja Takers could not substantiate their case before the committee and consequently, TNN were acquitted. TNN won 2-1. Maweja Takers would have been crowned the Stream D League champions, had they collected the maximum points in the match.
Tshakhuma RO United finished their league programme on top of Stream D, a point ahead of Maweja Takers.
