Gogobole Bucs led by 2-0 before half time in their Limpopo Dairy League match played against Makhitha Iyarunga, but the match eventually ended in a 2-all draw. The match was played at Gogobole on Sunday.
The players of Makhitha displayed their rough skills from the onset in a bid to frustrate their opponents. They did not get far with their wrongdoings as the referee, Sengani Ravhuhali, flashed three yellow cards in quick succession. The first player to go into the referee's book was Phuravhathu Rerani, who tackled Try Sebola from behind. Meshack Matiya was booked four minutes later. He obstructed Tshimomo Mabambu in the danger zone.
Bucs opened the score when Tshimomo Mbambu headed home after a square pass from Mbulaheni Mhlongo. They added another goal in the 37th minute, when Elelwani Marubini scored with a marvelous header to make the score 2-0.
Iyarunga were unstoppable in the second half. It was not by accident that they scored their first goal in the 60th minute as they were the superiors when it came to ball possession. Zane Kutama broke loose and beat the Bucs' keeper, Khongelani Baloyi, with a ground cutter. Kutama complete his brace and equalised for his team late in the match.
