It will be another busy weekend for the teams campaigning under the banner of the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League, or the Vodacom Promotional League as it was formerly known. Seven matches will be played at various venues throughout the province tomorrow while only one will be played this evening (Friday).
Joe Maweja will host the Giyani side, Gawula Classic, at the Tshifulanani Stadium. Maweja are in a winning mode. They won two important league matches in a row. They beat Mighty FC 2-0 at the Tshifulanani Stadium two weeks ago before collecting full points at the expense of Bilika All Stars at the Giyani Stadium last Sunday.
According to the general manager of Maweja, Mr Mukondi "Liweja" Nemavhulani, they want to win tomorrow's match and move to the top five teams on the log. He revealed that all his players have a clean bill of health.
The Giyani derby between Giyani Hotspurs and Bilika All Stars will be staged at the Giyani Stadium. It remains to be seen whether Bilika will rise to the occasion and make Hotspurs pay for the 1-2 defeat they suffered at the hands of Joe Maweja last weekend.
Great North FC will host Mosesetjane All Stars at the Seshego Stadium. The pace setters, Magezi FC, will entertain A1 Terrors at the TT Cholo Stadium in Polokwane.
Bellevue Winners Park are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for their away fixture against Polokwane Academy at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. Lephalale Young Killers will test their strength against Nkowankowa Barcelona at the TT Cholo Stadium. Boyne Young Tigers and Polokwane United will fight for league points at the Boyne Stadium.
The only match that will be played this evening will be between Mighty FC and The Dolphins at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
