Cobra Stars FC collected the maximum points in their two MMK Administrators Soccer League matches over the past weekend.

They beat Mutsha Atlantis Stars 3-1 on Saturday before crushing Flying Eagles United by the same margin at the Tshisaulu Greenfields grounds the following day.

Mmbulaiseni Ramavhunga of Cobra Stars was a marvel to watch in the game against Eagles, where he scored a brace. It took the Stars only 12 minutes to open their account. They were awarded a corner kick. Ramavhunga scored his first goal with a header, following a scramble within the box.

The home side were the first to effect change to their starting 11. They replaced Rodney Netshifhefhe with Elelwani Malada in the 24th minute. Stars' goal scorer, Ramavhunga, was booked for dangerous play in the 29th minute. He tackled Lavhelesani Singo from behind. Cobra Stars enjoyed their 1-0 lead until proceedings for the first half came to an end.

Flying Eagles approached the second half with more self-confidence. They found the equalizer three minutes into the last half. Happiness Mathobo beat the keeper with a half volley after a rebound.

Eagles strengthened their midfield by introducing Wiston Chauke and Anzatshilidzi Mudzunga for Pfarelo Rathogwa and Rendani Mathobo respectively. The move was not good enough to stop Cobra Stars from scoring their second goal in the 64th minute.

Ramavhunga completed his brace with a header, following a corner kick that was taken by Ntsieni Muvhango. Khuthadzo Mashau, who came on as a substitute, scored the third for Cobra Stars towards the end of the game.
