Limpopo artists Jr Player and Unathi Solomon are set to mark a milestone in their musical journey with the launch of their collaborative album, accompanied by a free live show for fans.
The event will take place on 4 April at Midway Carwash, offering supporters a chance to experience the duo’s new project firsthand.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Jr Player said the event holds personal meaning beyond the music. “It feels like my people are connecting with me through this event. I have always wanted to share what I do with my ‘homies’, my big family out there,” he said.
The collaboration reflects a growing creative partnership between the two artists, blending their styles into a sound aimed at both loyal followers and new listeners. The project signals their commitment to building a lasting presence in the industry.
Jr Player continues to build momentum in the local music scene, with his digital streams increasing and his music enjoying consistent street support.
The free show will also feature Saudi Rsa (Msotra), adding to the line-up.
