Music man Hlompho Manenzhe, better known as Killer Tee Rsa, believes he has found the perfect musical partnership in young artist Spiky Boy Youngking.
The singer and producer from Madodonga, in the Kutama District, has teamed up with Spiky Boy Youngking to release a sizzling single, titled Ni Wamashudu, on 5 February.
Judging by the warm reception from fans, Killer Tee Rsa is set for a breakthrough year. Since its release, the track has been making waves in music circles, featuring prominently at gigs and on local radio stations.
According to Killer Tee Rsa, the song carries a powerful message for young people. "The main message is that children should respect their parents while they are still alive because they won't be around forever. Too often, people only realise the importance of respect when their parents are gone, and by then, it's too late. This generation needs to move away from the tendency of disrespecting their elders. Those who are lucky enough to still have parents should use the time given to them by God to make them happy," he said.
He also believes his collaboration with Spiky Boy Youngking is a winning formula. "We are a great combination, and Ni Wamashudu is proof of the effort we put into this project," he said.
Killer Tee Rsa's music journey began in 2015, though he only released his first single in 2016. His talent started gaining recognition in 2018 with the release of Better Leader, on which he featured Chipetro. The track remains one of his most popular songs. In 2023, he released the EP Rumela Vharunwa, collaborating with several artists.
