Black Leopards are determined to make Amazulu their stepping stone, when they host them in their Absa Premiership League match at the Giyani Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Amazulu failed to collect points in their first-round encounter at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban five months ago. Amazulu, or Usuthu as they are widely known, lost 0-1 to Black Leopards.
Amazulu are on the safe side when it comes to relegation, as they are lying in the eighth position on the log, while Lidoda Duvha desperately need the three points at stake in order to move out of the danger zone. According to Leopards' captain, Mongezi Bobe, they will have nobody to blame except themselves if they give away points on Sunday.
He stated that everyone was mentally and physically fit in the camp and that Amazulu would be given a run for their money. Bobe revealed the team's killer striker, Rodney Ramagalela, will be available for selection on Sunday after sustaining an injury in their game against St Eloi Lupopo FC in the DRC two weeks ago.
The starting time is 15:00.
In the other PSL matches that will also be played on Sunday, Santos will host Kaizer Chiefs at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town, and Bloemfontein Celtic will meet Moroka Swallows at the Seisa Ramabodu Stadium in Bloemfontein.
Tomorrow will see Golden Arrows play against Jomo Cosmos at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban, a match which Jomo Cosmos must win at all cost. Platinum Stars will take on Free State Stars at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg, Mamelodi Sundowns and Maritzburg United will meet in Pietermaritzburg, while Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits will meet at the Orlando Stadium.
