Leopards ready to crush Amakhosi

The Peter Mokaba Stadium is expected to be packed to capacity on Sunday afternoon (09/10). That is where the much-awaited Absa Premiership League match between Black Leopards and Kaizer Chiefs will be staged.

According to Leopards' head coach, Mr Sunday Chidzambwa, his charges are ready to cause more upsets in the Chiefs' camp after the latter lost 1-2 to Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Peter Mokaba Stadium two weeks ago. He revealed that all his players, including their Malawian international, Harry Nyirenda, will be available for selection on Sunday. Nyirenda sustained a serious injury during their league match against Golden Arrows last month.

Chiefs' defence will find it hard to stop the Leopards' strikers in Rodney Ramagalela, Kingston Nkhatha and Grant Lungu. Some of the Chiefs' players who are expected to give Leopards a hard time include Josta Dladla, Lehlogonolo Majoro and their Zimbabwean international, Tinashe Nengomasha.

Another interesting match that will be played on Sunday is the Free State derby, where Bloemfontein Celtic will meet Free State Stars at the Seisa Ramabobu Stadium in Bloemfontein.

Four matches will be played tomorrow. Bidvest Wits will host Moroka Swallows at the Bidvest Stadium; Platinum Stars and Santos will fight for league points at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace; Golden Arrows and Mamelodi Sundowns will meet at the King Zwelithini Stadium and Orlando Pirates will rub shoulders with Amazulu at the Orlando Stadium.

Two matches will be played this evening. Ajax Cape Town will entertain Jomo Cosmos at the Cape Town Stadium, while Supersport will play against Maritzburg United at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.
