Dakalo Mathavha from Matangari Matombotswuka, popularly known as Libopie, has released her second House album, titled Linweduba zwidoluga. The 12-track album contains music that promises to be instant hits with the fans, such as the tracks Murumiwa, Azwinganinakeli and Vhusiku.

Libopie (27) first started singing at the age of eight, when she joined the Zion Christian Church's Sunday School choir. "My first album, Mudzimu bvula dzindila, was released in 2021. This is simply because I gave myself enough time to work on the album while, at the same time, taking the needs of my fans into consideration."

Her love of music is what keeps Mathavha going. She is gaining great popularity among House music lovers because of her unique style, which consists of heavy bass sounds.

Mathavha says that, although her music is well-received, a perception still persists that House music is only for a select group of people. "Most of the ordinary community members feel that they should not associate themselves with this type of music, because they think it is a music genre for the young generation and those who are well off. But House is a [type of] music for everyone, and we must embrace it like all other types of music. I'm happy that my music is receiving airplay on both national and community radio stations. I have made a few changes to my new music, but I have no doubt that the second album will thrill my fans. My aim is always to satisfy them," she said.
