The Limpopo Musangwe team will visit Gauteng for the final of the JTK Entertainment Indigenous Boxing (Musangwe) tournament tomorrow (Saturday) at the Phuthalushaka school grounds.

The fighters from Limpopo will fight against a Gauteng-based team. According to the manager of JTK Entertaiment, Mr Johnny Khubana, prize money of R30 000 will be shared by the winners in the different catergories.

Last month´s champion, Masha "Thirty" Magwabeni, promised his fans that he is going to win again. The Limpopo team comprises the likes of Thuso "Ngwazi" Ramukakati, Ntaka "Cybok" Madala, Avhasei "Golomo" Khomola, Lawrence "WrongTurn" Randima, Khodani "Big Show" Randima and many more. The Gauteng team will be led by Kota Mmbulawa, Gumani "Zero" Manyatsha, Jetro "Afro" Shy, Ntshavheni Ndou, Maduvha Mabuke, Mpandeli Nengovhela and many more.

The organiser, Mr Patrick Ramarada, said that no person suffering from HIV would be allowed to fight. The fear of spreading the disease recently prompted the organisers of the tournament to stop fights at the sight of serious open wounds.

According to the sponsor, Mr Johnny Khubana, participants are allowed to head-butt or knee opponents, beat them to a pulp or even put a curse on them. "If you are weak, you will eventually gain conciousness in the back of an ambulance," he said.

Volunteers are randomly chosen from two teams to fight until one of them is either knocked out or surrenders. "I don´t fear anybody. I believe in fighting with an opponent or enemy until he conquers me or I conquer him," said Cybok Madala. Thousands of people are expected to turn up at the ring.
