Local PSL players on the road again

Almost all the local players who are trading their skills in the Absa Premiership League will be part of the annual Magaza All Stars road show next week.

Almost all the local players who are trading their skills in the Absa Premiership League will be part of the annual Magaza All Stars road show next week.

According to one of the organizers for the show, Mr Victor Hlungwani, the show will commence on Monday and last until Saturday, June 7.

The first points to be touched will be the Khatisa and George Sono Secondary Schools, all of which fall under the jurisdiction of the Thulamela Municipality. The soccer stars will be at the two schools between 09:00 and 12:00 on Monday.

They will proceed to the Malamulele Hospital later in the afternoon where they are expected to comfort the patients at 15:00.

Tuesday, June 4, will see the players paying a visit to two schools in the Makhado Municipality area, Rivubye and Russel Bungeni High School.

Their Tuesday journey will end at the Elim Hospital, where they are scheduled to be at 15:00.

The players will proceed to Giyani on Wednesday where they will visit the local schools, Mahumani and Tlakulani. Their last stop will be at the local Nkhensani Hospital.

According to the statement from the organizers, the players will talk to the learners on various topics, including education and finance, drugs and alcohol abuse, HIV/Aids and sports. In the statement, the organizers have appealed to anyone who wishes to donate something to the learners and patients to contact them.

Any donation, including soccer kits, T-shirts, soccer balls, stationery, water bottles and cash, is welcomed.

The show will reach its climax on Saturday, June 7, when Magaza All Stars will play against Dynamos at the Giyani Stadium.
