SIBASA – A well-known local reporter of the Sunday Sun Newspaper, Mr Ndivhuwo Musetha, has fallen victim to theft from his motor vehicle. The incident took place last Thursday night, hours after he arrived back from his two-week trip to Hungary.

According to Musetha, he was fast asleep when the thugs broke into his car and stole valuable goods that include an Acer laptop computer, a Minolta digital camera, two 320-watts pioneer car speakers, toilet utensils, a 128mb camera memory card and a camera case.

Musetha reported the matter to the police the following morning, but no arrest had been made at the time of going to press. Realizing that he was in state of confusion as a result of the incident, Musetha requested his employers to grant him a special five-day leave.

What makes Musetha more of a worried man is the fact that the memory card contained more than 300 photographs of the Muzika Makhado music group with whom he went to Hungary. When the group members phone him, enquiring about their photographs, Musetha has one thing to tell them: “Keep on praying that my goods will be recovered.”

His employers (Sunday Sun) have promised a R2000 reward for any information that may lead to the arrest and conviction of the thugs. Any information relating to the incident can be forwarded to Capt Ailwei Mushavhanamadi at Tel 082 451 7172.
