The Malamulele Stadium is expected to be packed to capacity tomorrow afternoon. That is where the long- awaited Promotional Second Division match between Rospa United and Basel FC will be staged.
It will be the first league match for Rospa United this season and the third for Basel. Rospa United were not certain about their future as an affiliate of the Promotional Second Division League until last Thursday, due to the pending arbitration matter involving Dynamos, Bay United and Carara Kicks. The case was finalised last week.
Rospa United will be putting their newly assembled squad to the test, after firing all the players who were part of last season's team two months ago. Basel are in winning mode. They won their first two league matches against Baobab Zero Fake and Giyani Hotspurs convincingly.
In the other matches that will also be played tomorrow afternoon, Magezi FC will host Mighty FC at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. Phungo All Stars, who lost 3-4 to Magezi FC last weekend, will pay a visit to Ray Pillars at the Seshego Stadium.
Blue Rocks will entertain Winners Park at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen, while the Mopani derby between Boabab Zero fake and Giyani Hotspurs will be staged at the Giyani Stadium. Hotspurs suffered a 1-3 defeat at the hands of Basel FC last weekend.
Nobela All Stars will be the visitors in their match against Lephalale Young Killers at the Mogol Stadium. The Dolphins and Masesetjane All Stars will meet at the Mahwelereng Stadium in Mokopane, while the defending champions, Baroka FC, will play against Modimolle Aces at the Ngoana Mahube Stadium in Sekhukhune.
