Singer, songwriter, and record producer Hulisani Masakona, also known as Lutroo Da-Music, started the new year on a high note with the launch of his latest EP, Eclipse. Although the EP was released on 21 November last year, it was only launched at his home a fortnight ago, during a function attended by a significant number of fans and friends.
Born in Thohoyandou Block G, the 32-year-old now resides in Muledane.
“The EP has been doing very well since it was released last year, but there is one thing I did not know before the launch — people love my live performances. The launch was an electric moment, with fans asking for more. This boosted my morale, and I feel it is testament enough that I am on the right path,” he said.
Lutroo promised his fans more good music to come.
“Fans can expect significant growth, continuous artistic development, mainstream collaborations, and a new level of creativity. As of now, I will be focussing on promoting my new EP and live shows. More on this will be revealed in due time,” Lutroo said.
Before releasing his current EP, Lutroo had already released four projects, including three albums, followed by an Amapiano EP called Hu Si Kale. He also released several singles outside of these projects.
