The quarterfinal matches of the Tshikosi Off-season Soccer Tournament will be played this weekend. Two matches will be played at the Makonde Home Defenders grounds tomorrow and the remaining two will be staged at the same venue on Sunday.

Tomorrow's programme will commence with a match between Folovhodwe Stone Breakers and Rambuda Young Fighters. Stone Breakers' way to the quarterfinal stage went via Mulodi Young Santos, whom they beat 1-0 at the Khubvi Benjies grounds last Sunday. Rambuda Young Fighters beat Mulodi Freedom Birds to book a place in the quarterfinal round of the tournament.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 13:00.

Ficus FC and Khubvi Dangerous Darkies will test each other's strength soon afterwards.
Ficus booked a place in the quarterfinal stage without kicking the ball. Their match against Phandulaluvalo FC, which was supposed to have been played last Saturday, was declared a walk-over after Phandulaluvalo failed to produce identity documents for the players before the kickoff as required by the rules and regulations for the tournament.

Darkies' road to the quarterfinal was not an easy one. They scored a lucky late goal to register a 1-0 victory at the expense of Mutale Vikings.

Sunday will see Madridtas lock horns with Sambandou United Professionals, or Sapro as they are affectionately called. Madridtas beat Matangari High Aims 6-5 in their opening match last Sunday. The match is scheduled to start at 13:00.

Mukula Young Santos will have a date with Musasenda Big V at 15:00. The players to watch in the quarterfinal matches are Gundo Netshiheni of Dangerous Darkies, Ernot Dzaga of Madridtas and Hulisani Nefolovhodwe of Folovhodwe Stone Breakers.

The final will be played at the same venue next Sunday, 14 August.
