After losing 0-3 to the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) Ladies at the TUT Stadium in Pretoria last Saturday, Maindis Ladies will be on the road again. They will undertake a journey to Johannesburg next Wednesday, 17 August, where their Hollywoodbets Super League match against JVW Ladies FC will be played at the Dobsonville Stadium.

According to the head coach of Maindis, Mr Sipho Mabuza, the morale was very low in the team's camp after their defeat at the hands of TUT Ladies. He said that he had told the players to regard the defeat as water under the bridge and that they should remain focused on their future games. Mabuza, the former TUT Ladies head coach, said that their aim was to finish their league programme among the top three teams.

While the morale is down in the Maindis' camp, the situation is a different one with the JVW Ladies. They are still celebrating last Saturday's 3-2 win over the University of Johannesburg FC.

Durban Ladies will host Thunderbirds Ladies at the Chatsworth Stadium in Durban. Bloemfontein Celtic must beat the University of the Western Cape Ladies (UWC) to restore their lost pride. Celtic were unexpectedly beaten 0-1 by Coal City Wizards Ladies at the Puma Rugby Stadium in Emalahleni.

The University of Johannesburg Ladies will fly to Cape Town. Their match against the newly promoted Vasco da Gama will be played at the Parow Park Stadium outside Cape Town. City Lads will have a date with TUT Ladies at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth. Coal City Wizards will host Tsunami Queens at the Puma Rugby Stadium in Emalahleni, while First Touch FC will entertain Richmond United at the Seshego Stadium in Polokwane.
