The spokesperson for the event, Mr Divhambele Mbalavhali, said many local people would benefit from the festival. "We expect thousands of people to attend this event, and it will have a positive spinoff in terms of our local businesspeople."
Mbalavhali said the event aimed to introduce aspirant artists to the world of music as they performed and showcased their talent. "This festival will create a platform for sharing and exposing the talents of our local artists."
The business manager of the SABC Limpopo Combo, Mr Madikana Matjila, assured music lovers that they would not be disappointed by the musicians' performance. Some of the artists to expect on the stage are Zozo, Colbert Mukwevho, Serial the Community, Leonard Karikoka, and Gusba.
Vhembe's own renowned artist, Makhadzi, who will also be performing at the festival, said she was confident that she would give music lovers exactly what they wanted. "I don't just sing my songs for pleasure, but to teach people about life," she said.
