Malamulele Hospital voted the best in the province

Staff and management of Malamulele Hospital in Thulamela, Limpopo Province, are on cloud nine after the hospital was voted the best hospital in the province. The hospital received a platinum award during the provincial excellence awards ceremony of the Department of Health and Social Development at Nirvana Civic Hall last Tuesday night. Three years ago, the hospital also won a platinum award. The communications officer, Mr Nelson Chauke, said Malamulele was the only health facility that represented the Department of Health and Social Development at the Premier's Service Excellence Awards for 2009/10 in the province and had persistently participated and won awards in the Premier's Service Excellence Awards over the past three years. "All these achievements are an inspiration to the executive management, staff and the community to continue strengthening our commitment to render quality health care services," he added.
