Police in Malamulele have appealed to members of the public for assistance in locating 14-year-old Masingita Hlungwani, who has been missing since Saturday, 18 July.
It is reported that Masingita left home at about 14:00 that day to visit a salon. After leaving the salon, she reportedly went to an unknown location and has not been seen since. Her cellphone has been switched off.
She was last seen wearing black leggings, a pink T-shirt, a white jersey and navy-blue shoes. Police and her family have searched for her at the homes of friends and in surrounding areas, but their efforts have so far been unsuccessful.
Anyone with information that could assist in locating Masingita is urged to contact the investigating officer, Lieutenant Colonel Fhumulani Ragimana, on 082 229 0229, the Crime Stop number 08600 10111, the nearest police station, or submit information via the MySAPS app.
