A 22-year-old Zimbabwean man's "sexual adventure" with a goat was cut short when the animal bleated out sounds of distress, prompting its owner to rush to its rescue.
The suspect was arrested last week, pending a court appearance on charges of bestiality. According to local police spokesperson Supt Andrew Phiri, the man was allegedly caught pants down by the goat's owner, David Matunha, last Thursday night.
Under Zimbabwean law, as in many other countries, it is illegal for humans to engage in sexual activity with animals.
In October last year, another local man was caught having sex with a donkey, which he claimed had transformed from a prostitute, picked earlier at a nightspot. He was then arrested and taken to court.
Sending the court into hysterical laughter, the 28-year-old man told the magistrate: "Your worship, I only came to know I was being intimate with a donkey when I got arrested."
