A well-known resident of Valdezia, Jones Mabogo (46), committed suicide on Friday, when he shot himself at his mother’s grave.

A well-known resident of Valdezia, Jones Mabogo (46), committed suicide on Friday, when he shot himself at his mother's grave.

According to a spokesperson for the Waterval SAPS, Insp Abel Masonto, Mabogo frequently visits his mother´s grave at the local cemetery.

Last Friday evening, however, his shot himself at his mother's grave. "We have opened an inquest docket but we are urging those with more information to come forward," Masonto said.
